The world would be a better place if we could decide how and who to love.
It would be a lot easier if we could just snap our fingers and transfer somebody who is not made for us to our system.
But, unfortunately, things do not work at all like that, do they?
Nevertheless, sometimes, that’s exactly what to do, even when it seems impossible.
Sometimes you have to be strong enough and decide to stop loving someone who is clearly not worthy of you, someone who makes your life miserable.
Sometimes we have to stop waiting for the man who does not want to come back. Stop keeping a place in life when it is obvious that he does not want it.
I know you continue to keep your hopes, thinking that this man you love so deeply will change.
I know you are clinging to the idea that one day he will come to his senses and things between you will become different.
I hate being the one that breaks your bubble and breaks your heart, but I have to tell you that none of this will happen.
No, he will remain the same asshole he has always been, and you will only waste your time if you continue to keep a place in your heart for him.
I do not want to be cruel, but this guy does not like you in return, and he does not deserve your efforts.
The worst thing is that he does not want your love either. He does not respect your feelings, he does not appreciate your sacrifices and he does not cherish your loving heart.
So, what do you need more to understand that he is not worthy of you?
What must he do to make you finally realize that he will never become the man you want him to be, and that he will never be able to give you the love you need?
What do you need to finally get it off your heart? To stop you from finding an apology and justifying it?
I know that all this time you are looking for reasons. You can not help wondering why he does not love you as he should, and why he does everything to chase you away from him.
I know you would like an explanation, a closure to help you move forward.
Is he incapable of loving in general, or is it only you that he can not love?
Well, dear, it’s time for you to accept the fact that these are questions that will always remain unanswered, just as you have to accept that you’re waiting for it for nothing.
And after all, even if you knew all these things, it would not change anything, would it? So why keep on bothering with that?
Instead of torturing your mind, thinking about this man and wasting your time waiting for him to come to your senses, focus all your energy on your ultimate goal, which is to remove him from your system.
Who is to stop giving him the love he does not deserve, to stop fighting for him, and to stop giving him the attention he does not have the right to.
I will not lie to you, it will be anything but easy. That said, it’s something that needs to be done for your own good.
It’s time to face the truth and acknowledge that you are nothing more than a plan B and a safety net for this man.
A girl who will put her life on hold whenever he needs it. A girl who will never be her priority and her first choice.
It is time to leave this road that leads nowhere and begin to walk the path of the future.
It’s time to take control of your life and choose to love you more than you like this jerk.
More importantly, it’s time to choose healing rather than pain.
