Maybe you are not what I think you are.
At least most people tell me that. They see everything that you did wrong. Every mistake you made. Every moment you disappointed me. And I’m not blind to it. I’m not so naive. Because I know exactly that you have weaknesses.
As I get to know you better, I see more clearly that you are not as perfect a person as I thought when we met for the first time.
The truth is, when you get to know people better, you begin to look at everything a little more closely. The skin, which might seem perfect from a distance, has a scar with a history of how it got there. And that’s the beauty of humans, there’s always more to it than what’s on the surface.
And I really enjoy learning everything about you, everything. Even the bad stuff.
Because the truth is, even with the flaws that dominate, I still see the good in you.
Even every mistake you made, and stories from your past with things that you can not forgive yourself, I consider something beautiful. Because it all made you the person you are today.
So, if you allow me, I will love you even in your worst condition.
I want to love you in those moments when you are not quite yourself and you hate the person you were in the past.
I’ll be there to remind you that you’re the way you are – and to whom you make me.
I will love you on those nights when you are tired and exhausted from a long day and do not know how to wake up tomorrow.
I’ll be there to remind you that I’m proud of you and everything you do.
I’ll love you when you’re angry, even though it’s a page few people see.
I will not try to save you, I will just love you as much as I can.
I will love you in your absence in the moments when I wish you were standing next to me. I understand that sometimes you can not be there and I’ll never blame you. When I stepped into your life, I knew very well that there were things that would put me in second place.
Wherever I am and whatever I do or with whoever I travel, in the moments when we can not be together, my heart belongs to you all alone.
I will not ask you for details or details, but I’ll love you and listen when you’re ready to talk.
I’ll love you if you push me off and tell me you’re better off alone.

Yes, you have mistakes, but there is nothing I would ever change about you.
Everything that you are makes me so proud of what I am. Proud to be someone worthy to stand by your side. Someone who loves himself a little more because of the love and attention you showed me.
And maybe you are not what I think you are. Maybe you are more than anything I would have expected of a person, everything that I ever wanted but could not put into words. Everything I did not even dream of – because it was only when you came that I realized someone could fulfil my life and my heart.
